On 2nd July, IEEE Portugal held the second Extended ExCom Meeting of 2022 and the Chapters’ Summit! The events were held at the Departamento de Engenharia Informática – Universidade de Coimbra.

All representative members of Portuguese OUs, officers, and ExCom members discussed the challenges of the post-covid period and presented the activities planned for the second semester of 2022. In the Chapters’ Summit, an event specifically designed to support the operation of our chapters, we addressed several topics of high importance regarding its operation and management, as well as strategic actions that can leverage the impact of the chapters’ activities. Last but not the least, this was the first meeting for a high number of new officers elected during the first semester. Welcome aboard!
